Modified Routes That Improve Connectivity, Frequency and Reduce Travel Time The route operates with 30-minute frequency during weekday rush hour and 60-minute frequency during weekday non rush hour and weekends. Additionally, Route 954 provides more frequent and regular connections to medium-density and high-density areas along Herndon Parkway and Crestview Drive. Route 954 provides all-day service between Sterling Plaza and Herndon Metrorail Station, improving access to employment, shopping, and Loudoun County Transit. Service also includes Parcher Avenue and Spring Street / Van Buren Street area. The route operates with 40-minute frequency on weekdays and weekends. Route 921 operates as a loop through the Town of Herndon, connecting Herndon downtown and historical areas to the Herndon Metrorail Station. The route operates all-day service with 30-minute frequency during weekday rush hour and 60-minute frequency during weekday non rush hour and weekends. The route significantly reduces travel time between these areas, while providing access from residential areas to employment centers. ![]() Route 901 provides connectivity between the Herndon, Centreville, and Chantilly areas. New connectivity and improved travel time Connection with Route 605 to Reston is now maintained by way of a transfer point at Fair Oaks Hospital. Route 615 provides all-day service with 30-minute frequency during weekday rush hour and 45-minute frequency during weekday non rush hour and weekends. More direct connections with Reston now available at Fair Oaks Hospital. Route 615 replaces the section of Route 605 that used to operate between Fair Oaks Hospital and Fair Oaks Mall, via Stringfellow Road and Fair Lakes Parkway. Through a contract with the owner of the unit, the FCRHA pays a portion of the monthly rent, while the household pays their portion of the monthly rent based upon 30% to 35% of adjusted gross income. These affordable housing opportunities are made available through the Project Based Voucher program which provides rental assistance to eligible households to live in specific rental units. Housing Funds Make a Local Impact in Fairfax Households cannot currently be receiving other federal rental housing assistance to qualify. Once a unit becomes available, the individuals on a waiting list will be contacted, screened, and determined eligible based on income level, household size, and the size of the rental unit. All applications received have an equal opportunity to be selected. Those who apply via Rent Café will be randomly placed on a waiting list for these properties.
